A mint condition Royal Automobile Club IXth International Rally, 1960, participants car badge. The R.A.C rally was a multi-stage rally begining with 24-hours of hard driving, stoping at Inverness before then crossing over one thousand miles of Scotish roads. The event would finsih at the historic Brans Hatch circuit, not before also stopping at Rufforth, Cadwell Park, Mallory Park, Silverstone and various other British circuits for a series of motor races and driving tests. Many brilliant British cars competed in 1960, including a Jaguar MkII 3.8, Austin-Healey 3000 & MkI Sprite, but a Swedish Saab 96 was the events victor.
